Format

This precourse will be offered in a hybrid-format via online modules,

webinar on Monday 8 September at 12-14 CEST

and on-site at the congress site in room Schubert 6, on Sunday, 28 September, at 8:00-12:30 CEST

This course will comprise case based discussions and agreement on principles and recommendations for action. The course is accredited with 3.5 CMEs by the EACCME®.

  • Create a community of practice for educators in emergency medicine
  • Share good practice
  • Rehearse the key educational skills required
  • Explore optimal use of educational tools

Topic 1 – your hospital has said that the classroom teaching programme has to stop- how will you ensure the residents continue to learn – what are the options  
Topic 2 –  one of your trainers has been accused of bullying – you know their standards are high but they are passionate about education – what can you do  
Topic 3 – a benefactor has donated money to the department to be used for education. It is a significant amount of money that is recurring over the next 20 years (100,000E a year) – what would you spend it on
