How to Get to VIECON – Vienna Congress & Convention Center
By Bus/Metro (Public Transport)
- Metro (U-Bahn):
- Take U2 (Purple Line) and get off at Messe-Prater station (directly at the venue).
- Alternatively, U1 (Red Line) to Praterstern, then change to U2 towards Seestadt and exit at Messe-Prater.
- Bus/Tram Options:
- Bus 11A or 82A to the Messe Wien area.
- Tram 5 or O to Praterstern, then transfer to U2.
By Train
- Arrive at Wien Hauptbahnhof (Vienna Main Station) or Wien Westbahnhof.
- From Hauptbahnhof, take U1 (Red Line) to Praterstern, then switch to U2 to Messe-Prater.
- From Westbahnhof, take U3 (Orange Line) to Volkstheater, then switch to U2 to Messe-Prater.
By Car
- Enter Messeplatz 1, 1021 Wien, Austria into GPS.
- Easily accessible via A23 highway (take exit Handelskai/Messezentrum).
- Parking available at APCOA Messe Wien parking garage.
By Air (Vienna International Airport – VIE)
- By Train: Take the City Airport Train (CAT) or S7 S-Bahn to Praterstern, then take U2 to Messe-Prater.
- By Taxi: Around 20-30 minutes (approx. €35-40).
- By Bus: Vienna Airport Lines VAL 3 to Donauzentrum, then take U2 to Messe-Prater.
